We are a boutique law firm in Tysons Corner looking for an experienced litigation secretary who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities include: preparing/revising correspondence, legal documents, memos, preparing all variety of pleadings, etc.; e‑filing/filing with various state and federal courts; calendaring; organizing and maintaining case files and trial binders; answering phones; time entry and billing (both paper and e‑billing); preparing expense reimbursements, coordinating travel arrangements, scheduling for depositions and meetings, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • AA+ degree preferred.
  • 3‑5 years of litigation experience.
  • Solid understanding of court rules, procedures and calendaring.
  • Experience with Federal and Virginia filing/e‑filling procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • NetDocuments and Bill4Time knowledge a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, self‑reliant and can prioritize workload.
  • Must be organized, detail‑oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player.

This is a full‑time position (40 hours/week) with occasional overtime. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Principals only, please.
