Job Title: Internal Medicine Hematology and Oncology (Full-Time, Permanent)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician specializing in Hematology and Oncology to join our reputable healthcare team in Seaside, Oregon. This is a full-time, permanent position dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a multidisciplinary setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing complex hematologic and oncologic conditions, contributing to our commitment to excellence in patient outcomes and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust therapies as needed, and ensure optimal care delivery.
- Participate in clinical rounds, tumor boards, and continuing education activities.
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
- Stay abreast of the latest advances in hematology and oncology to incorporate evidence-based practices.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Oregon.
- Demonstrated experience in managing hematology and oncology cases.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
