Overview Senior Care Therapy is seeking full‑time or part‑time Licensed Psychologists to join our mission of providing in‑person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We currently serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities, including sub‑acute, long‑term care, and assisted living throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

By working collaboratively with facility staff, SCT aims to improve outcomes for both residents and the care teams that support them. At SCT, we handle all the administrative responsibilities—including billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre‑certifications—so you can focus on providing exceptional clinical care.
What We Provide:

32‑hour and 40‑hour equivalent work week opportunities
Salary ranges from $80,000–$125,000 with uncapped FFS bonus opportunity
Part time: fee‑for‑service opportunities

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a sub‑acute or skilled nursing facility.
Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician‑designed electronic medical/health system (EHR).
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in the state where applying.
Effective oral and written communication in English.
Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
Ability to provide in‑person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.
Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.
Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous clinical experience in a sub‑acute, long‑term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
History of treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
Psych or addictions experience is a plus.
Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
Compensation details: $80,000–$125,000 yearly salary.
