We are building a best-in-class patient services ecosystem. Central to this effort is a **Commercial Patient Hub** that will connect patients, providers, payers, and partners through seamless data integration, operations excellence, and actionable insights.**Position Summary**The **Senior Director, Commercial Patient Hub Data Strategy and Operations** will establish and lead Madrigal’s data operations for our patient services hub. This leader will be responsible for ensuring that data from specialty pharmacies, copay/affordability vendors, field reimbursement teams, and patient support providers is ingested, governed, and transformed to support operations and development of actionable insights to drive brand performance and optimize patient outcomes.This role requires a **strategic leader** who is also willing to be hands-on in shaping data models, building governance frameworks, and ensuring operational excellence across all hub-related data streams. The Senior Director will partner cross-functionally with IT, Commercial Data, Compliance, Legal, Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial Analytics to deliver timely, trusted, and compliant data for decision-making.**Key Responsibilities*** **Build and Lead Patient Hub Data Operations:**

+ Design, implement, and operate Madrigal’s patient hub data strategy, processes, and systems.

+ Oversee ingestion, integration, and stewardship of data from specialty pharmacies, hubs, copay programs, and field reimbursement partners.* **Governance & Compliance:**

+ Establish strong governance frameworks for relevant requirements including HIPAA and contractual compliance.

+ Partner with Legal and Compliance to manage data use, sharing, and retention policies.* **Operational Excellence:**

+ Manage hub data pipelines (daily/weekly feeds, exceptions management, reconciliation).

+ Ensure KPIs such as time-to-fill, speed-to-therapy, patient adherence, and case resolution are consistently available and accurate.* **Leadership & Vendor Management:**

+ Lead a cross-functional data team (engineers, analysts, stewards).

+ Oversee vendor relationships (hub service providers, data integration partners, CRM vendors such as Salesforce/Veeva).* **Analytics & Insights Enablement:**

+ Deliver curated datasets and dashboards to Patient Services, Market Access, Field Reimbursement, and Brand Teams.

+ Partner with Commercial Analytics to drive patient access, pull-through, and hub effectiveness insights.**Qualifications*** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.* **Experience:**

+ 15+ years in data management, commercial operations, or analytics within pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

+ 7+ years leading data development and operations for patient services hubs, specialty pharmacy, or commercial data ecosystems.

+ Proven success building hub data operations in an **insourced or hybrid operating model**.* **Technical Skills:**

+ Expertise in CRM platforms (Salesforce/Veeva), data integration (ETL/ELT), and BI tools (Power BI).

+ Knowledge of data tokenization (Datavant, IQVIA OCE), MDM, and interoperability technologies and standards.* **Cloud Data Infrastructure:**

+ Expertise in cloud-based data solutions with a focus on Azure

+ Experience with Azure/Databricks and multi-cloud preferred* **Leadership Skills:**

+ Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and communicate with senior leadership.

Base salary is determined by several factors including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs and market demands.
