Their infrastructure powers mission‑critical exchange systems requiring institutional‑grade security, low‑latency performance, and 24/7 reliability. As they continue expanding their cloud‑native architecture, they're seeking engineers who can bridge traditional infrastructure expertise with modern cloud practices.
Join this vital team where you'll play a key role in migrating and modernizing critical infrastructure from on‑premises to AWS and Kubernetes. Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to architect scalable, observable cloud solutions while maintaining the high‑availability standards required in financial services. You'll work alongside other engineers to shape the platform's future infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, or DevOps engineering roles
Proven success migrating Linux‑based workloads from on‑premises to AWS or Kubernetes
Deep hands‑on knowledge of Terraform and Ansible
Experience designing complex cloud solutions in AWS using Cloud Foundation best practices
Strong background in networking (VPCs, Transit Gateways, Route 53, load balancing, VPNs)
IaC implementation and GitOps workflows
Experience with observability platforms (CloudWatch, Datadog, Elastic Stack, or similar)
Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization strategies
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience in financial services, exchange, or other high‑availability, low‑latency environments
Prior work managing on‑premises infrastructure (Nutanix, Puppet, Foreman)
Experience with service mesh solutions (Istio, Linkerd, AWS App Mesh)
Knowledge of API management via AWS API Gateway and Kong
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer)
Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo) and Bitbucket
Startup experience or being part of small, agile teams

50% AWS Cloud Infrastructure (Terraform, EKS, networking)
30% Migration & Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
20% Observability & Automation (Datadog, CloudWatch, CI/CD)
Daily Responsibilities
60% Hands On (building infrastructure, writing IaC, migrating workloads)
30% Collaboration (working with engineering and ops teams on architecture)
10% On‑call rotation and incident response
