highly skilled, certified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters
to join our elite interpreter pool for
upcoming federal contract assignments
at Naval Base San Diego and locations within the greater San Diego area. If you are a polished, dependable interpreter with strong ethics and exceptional communication skills,
we want to partner with you.

About the Opportunity
In-person interpreting for meetings, trainings, town halls, and special events
Assignments range from
1–8 hours per event
Ad-hoc and scheduled requests
with a minimum of 10 days’ notice
Work alongside federal professionals in a high-credibility environment
Perfect for interpreters who want
steady supplemental income
with
flexibility
Required Certifications Applicants
must hold
one of the following:
NIC (NIC, NIC Advanced, NIC Master)
CI or CT
CDI (Certified Deaf Interpreter)
NAD Level III, IV, or V
BEI Certification
Only certified interpreters will be considered!!
What We’re Looking For
Professional, polished communicators
Reliable availability and excellent punctuality
Strong ethical judgment and confidentiality
Ability to deliver high-quality, culturally competent interpretation
Comfortable working in federal/military environments
Must be able to obtain Naval Base access (we assist with the process)
