Overview The Administrative Executive Coordinator (Executive Assistant) serves as primary administrative support for the Dean of the Hunter‑Bellevue School of Nursing, handling confidential, time‑sensitive assignments, engaging with internal and external constituents, maintaining accurate schedules, databases, and records, and ensuring the Dean’s immediate priorities are addressed.

Responsibilities

Coordinate office operations such as meetings, communications, events, and reports.

Maintain extensive files and records for the unit.

Maintain accurate calendars, schedules, and key dates.

Collect data for, prepare, and distribute reports and presentations using appropriate technology; run basic system queries and reports to provide data.

Update office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintain current information on department websites, manuals, and other materials.

Provide clear communications on the Executive’s behalf both within and outside the unit.

Perform related duties as assigned; participate in special projects and efforts to improve unit effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Previous project planning experience and/or work with a College/School program is desirable.

Two years of related experience is beneficial.

Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills are required.

Proficiency in database management, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other relevant systems/software is required.

Detail oriented, able to multitask, use discretion when handling confidential information; good customer service talent; exhibit independent initiative and good judgment; work collaboratively with administrators, staff, faculty, and students.

Compensation Commensurate with experience ($82,297-$94,409).
