This role is a Service Desk Support Technician performing full life cycle support for customer‑facing technologies via phone, onsite, or remote tools in a complex multi‑agency environment. Responsibilities include supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, communication devices, associated operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11), and software applications. Job Duties
Provide excellent customer support and perform full life cycle support for customer‑facing technologies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Valid driver’s license or state ID and dependable transportation. Travel to various state agencies and maintain accurate mileage records. Regular attendance is essential. As a condition of employment, a background check will be completed. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, computer engineering, electronics, network engineering or a related field, OR high school diploma plus two WV Office of Technology approved IT certifications. Two years of full‑time or equivalent part‑time paid experience installing, supporting, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and/or network connectivity. Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certification, Cisco certification, Help Desk Institute Certification, or similar. Benefits
