OSP / ISP Telecom Foreman

About the Role We are seeking an experienced OSP / ISP Telecom Foreman to lead field construction crews in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, and the confidence to make informed decisions in the field to keep projects on schedule and within spec.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of telecom construction crews for OSP (Outside Plant) and ISP (Inside Plant) projects.
Interpret and work from construction drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Plan and execute project tasks including conduit installation, fiber/copper placement, splicing, terminations, and testing.
Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues in real time.
Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
Maintain detailed job records, material usage, and as-built documentation.
Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience as a Telecom Foreman (OSP/ISP or related construction).
Strong understanding of telecommunications construction standards and practices.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
Competitive hourly rate of $35 – $45, depending on experience.
