What is the opportunity? As an Operations Associate II, you will be a dedicated resource for the Account Services team, supporting the setup and maintenance of client VISA debit cards, client personal checking, and establishing the transfer on death service. Your ability to adapt and extraordinary critical thinking skills will be instrumental in providing support for our clients. With the Account Services team you will have the opportunity to learn and grow new skills, develop your career and do work that matters in an ever-evolving environment.
What will you do?
Liaise and provide exceptional customer service support for individuals requiring research, problem resolution, or securing information from other Operations departments, RBC Business Units, external customers or industry participants.
Address escalated questions independently, following established department procedures, seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate.
Provide accurate analysis and processing support for manual, exception-based, complex, and/or highly specialized processes within a specific Operation’s department. Accurately review, verify, and/or record data into technology supporting department processes.
Run and analyze reports as required to resolve exceptions ensuring adherence to all regulatory and firm policy requirements.
Accurately process department requests in Salesforce, RBC WorkFlow, and AOS Docupace.
Reduce risk or increase efficiencies by suggesting process changes and system modifications. Participate in testing and implementation of new systems and processes as required.
Train and act as a resource for less experienced Operation’s team members.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
4‑year degree from an accredited university (or equivalent) OR High school diploma (or equivalent) AND 2 years of job‑related experience.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technology, critical thinking skills required to support escalated issue resolution and/or oversight requirements associated with exception‑based complex processes.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced and deadline‑driven environment with a high attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft‑based software products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
Proficient internet skills.
Nice-to-have
Experience with client cash products such as VISA debit cards and personal checkbooks.
Previous experience in the securities, banking or finance industry preferred.
Knowledge on Broadridge is preferred.

The good‑faith expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 - $55,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company‑matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time‑off plan.
