Job Description Responsible for coordinating all maintenance and repair activities performed by assigned staff at SJH. Routinely inspects the facility to identify problems with systems or equipment. Supervises and schedules staff in one or more disciplines within the department, including all HVAC Mechanics, Electricians, Plumbers, Metal Fabricator and General Mechanics. Responsible for budgetary compliance for projects. Troubleshoots and repairs of all types of HVAC Refrigeration, Electrical Systems and Plumbing. Monitors staff performance through TMA to maintain a high level of services.

Qualifications Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and one but less than two years of basic technical or occupationally specific training in HVAC and two to three years of previous work‑related experience. Valid driver’s license with no pending violations and an acceptable driving record as stipulated by SJH policy and, if applicable, the SJH insurance carrier, for those required to drive a hospital vehicle. Work requires the ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles. Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters, understand written and verbal instructions, record data, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
