Your Role And Responsibilities The Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Lead will play a critical role in supporting the acquisition activities of a multi-billion dollar Federal acquisition program. As a key member of the program management team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the overarching Supply chain Risk identification and Assessment, SCRM documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring that all SCRM processes and procedures are properly documented, updated, and aligned with industry best practices and federal regulations. The SCRM lead will lead the overall SCRM efforts in sourcing and supplier management across acquisition and workstreams, working closely with stakeholders to identify and assess potential risks to the supply chain, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure the continuity of critical supplies and services. This will involve collaborating with procurement, contracting, and technical teams to ensure that SCRM is integrated into all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle, from sourcing and supplier selection to contract award and management. The SCRM lead will also work with suppliers and contractors to identify and address potential risks, and to develop and implement plans to minimize their impact.
Preferred Education Master’s Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain risk management (SCRM), supply chain management, and acquisition leadership roles
Proven track record in managing supply chain operations and implementing risk management strategies
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to interpret complex data and trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical analysis to non‑technical audiences
Experience collaborating in dynamic, multi‑stakeholder environments and applying supply market trends, supplier capabilities, and best practices
Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the US government
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Experience in aviation or working with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Familiarity with emerging supply market trends, supplier capabilities, and global sourcing best practices
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders across complex environments
Proficiency in data‑driven decision‑making and leveraging analytics tools for supply chain optimization
Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional initiatives and driving process improvements
