Project Controls Specialist – REMOTE Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC

is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Project Controls team to support ongoing facility maintenance and utility services at project sites. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong cost analysis background, proficiency in analysis, trending, and forecasting, and excellent communication skills.

Work Location:

Remote, supporting Central and Eastern Time Zone projects.

Responsibilities

Support project or proposal planning and scheduling activities including engineering, materials management, construction, start‑up and operations.

Direct the analysis and utilization of schedule data to identify key project issues.

Administer the gathering and assembly of data for schedule development and updating appropriate to task.

Progressively identify and analyze project schedule variances.

Develop scheduling reports, maintain baseline schedules and WBS, and manage schedule performance.

Track subcontractor performance, lead monthly report preparation, and support cost analysis through cross‑training.

Participate in planning and scheduling meetings to gain insight to planning and scheduling issues.

Competencies

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks with moderate attention to detail.

Senior‑level written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Ability to apply organizational practices, policies and procedures in performing a wide variety of related administrative tasks.

Maintain the judgment and discretion to properly safeguard highly sensitive information.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Business or related field and 6–9 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong project controls skills in cost analysis, trending, and forecasting.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with multiple customers and organizations.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Other Job‑Related Qualifications

United States citizenship.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) credential.
