The Accessory Product Planner will be responsible for the ideation, planning, pricing and sales of accessories and performance components for the current and future defined Stellantis vehicle applications. The core objectives of the planning team are to bring Mopar accessories and upfit packages to market and work with the extended team (marketing, supply chain management, purchasing, field operations, etc.) to ensure sales success once in market.

This is a highly strategic, fast-paced, and visible position that is expected to lead cross-functional teams comprised of engineering, research, design, sales, marketing, and finance to define and develop the accessory and its features. The candidate will define the competitive landscape, understand specific competitor attributes, and define customer data such as demographics and purchase/rejection reasons. These insights will then translate to a product vision including a product plan, positioning, commercial parameters, and a go-to-market plan. In addition, establishing the nameplate's accessories the candidate will require a detailed understanding of market trends, Stellantis showroom dynamics and aftermarket offerings.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to use analytical data to identify opportunities and make recommendations to deliver positive sales results. They will create financial business cases to support new and ongoing operations, supervise pricing strategy of new parts and upfit packages and provide competitive research and cost/benefit analysis of planned accessories. The role will require an entrepreneurial mindset with creative thinking and strong product, sales, marketing, presentation and communication skills, often at executive levels.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or similar discipline

5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: product planning, brand management, product/marketing strategy, engineering or other roles demonstrating leadership and ability to work in a team orientated environment

Demonstrated cross-functional leadership while managing a complex, strategic project

Able to multi-task and prioritize workload

Strong communication and presentations skills

Organized, self-starter possessing strong leadership, and excellent multi-tasking skills

Excellent problem-solving skills with proven experience and resourcefulness

Able to effectively communicate a product vision through verbal and visual storytelling using high-level presentations

Passion for the automotive market

Comfortable mining and analyzing data to identify market trends to make recommendations on improving sales, share, and profit targets

Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications

Master of Business Administration

Automotive technical and product knowledge

Experience interacting with Mopar and Brand field representatives and dealers

Ability to gauge sales activities, understand customer trends and interpret competitive actions

In-depth knowledge of Stellantis vehicles and technical specifications and capabilities
