Overview Job title: Inventory Control Clerk
Location: Mesquite, TX (referral information included in original description)
Shift and Compensation
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
W Shift: Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Saturday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
E Shift: Tuesday–Friday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am
Compensation: $20.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
Conduct cycle counts and bin location audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies; work with Inventory Supervisor/Manager on all related functions.
Accurately input inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity; complete required documentation on time.
Trace item history to determine causes of discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
Operate motorized equipment including Order Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, and Stand-Up Reach Truck.
Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Utilize computer terminals to account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.
Collaborate with team and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Qualifications
Minimum 1–3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control and in a warehouse environment.
Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift is a plus.
Experience with WMS software is a plus (Synapse preferred).
PC literacy with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database.
Education
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
