Job Summary The Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing day‑to‑day manufacturing operations to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role is accountable for supervising frontline employees, implementing production strategies, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations. Operating at the site level, the Production Supervisor reports directly to the Production Manager or Operations Manager and serves as a key link between production staff and senior leadership.
Job Responsibilities
Lead production teams to meet quality standards and on‑time delivery requirements.
Coordinate with department leads to manage workflow and ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.
Set clear performance goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching, feedback, and formal evaluations.
Administer performance management, including discipline and recognition in accordance with company policies.
Address employee concerns and complaints, fostering a respectful and solution‑oriented work environment.
Maintain accurate personnel records, including timekeeping, attendance, and performance data.
Promote and enforce workplace safety policies; ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Prior experience in team leadership, coaching, and employee development.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy.
Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Solid understanding of safety standards and manufacturing workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
