As the architect of our Logistics Division, you will: Strategically lead and mentor a dedicated logistics team, optimizing fleet, facilities, technology, and support operations for maximum readiness and efficiency. Oversee the procurement and delivery of critical supplies, apparatus, and cutting-edge equipment that keeps our department on the leading edge. Partner with the Division of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) to advance our communications, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Manage our robust fleet and facilities, ensuring every resource is ready at a moments notice. Shape policy, direct budgets, and represent logistics at the highest level within the Fire & Rescue Departments leadership team. Respond as a key member of the Incident Command System during major events, ensuring seamless support in the most critical moments. High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelors degree preferred. At least 4 years of technical experience in fire/EMS logistics or support services. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience. Valid Colorado drivers license or ability to obtain within 3 months (Class B required within 1 year of hire). Certifications in CPR/BLS, NIMS (ICS 100800), and Operator Utility (or equivalent). Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) management certification preferred.
