  • DOE Certification Requirements(including volunteer coaches) must have one of the two certifications:
    • New Jersey Teacher's Certification
    • New Jersey Instructional Substitute Credential (30 College Credits)
  • New Jersey Teacher's Certification
  • New Jersey Instructional Substitute Credential (30 College Credits)
  • Proof of experience required for Substitute Certificate holder.
  • Coaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be available daily during the winter sports season.
  • All coaches must hold a current (valid) adult CPR/AED and Basic First Aid Certification. All courses that the DOE approves for certification are acceptable.
  • All new coaches (starting 2007-2008 school year) must complete the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course before their first employment as a coach. This course is a one-time requirement.
  • All coaches must complete the NFHS Concussion in Sports Course, renewed annually.
  • All coaches must complete the NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Course, renewed annually.
  • All coaches must complete the NFHS Implicit Bias Course. This course is a one-time requirement.
  • All coaches must complete the BeNice Program. This course is a one-time requirement.
  • Meet such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
  • Pending budget availability.
  • All postings are open for ten (10) consecutive days following the date posted or until filled.

    • Effective Date (s): December 1, 2025 - March 8, 2026

    Staff Needed: One (1)Strength and Conditioning Coach
