Description Our client, a respected nonprofit organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Administrative Assistant to join their team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documents and supporting the organization's compliance efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and file federal, state, and local tax documents
- Maintain accurate records of tax filings and related correspondence
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of required nonprofit tax forms (e.g., IRS Form 990)
- Assist with audits and requests for information from regulatory entities
- Support general administrative duties, including data entry, document management, and correspondence with donors and vendors
- Collaborate with the finance team to track expenses and gather necessary financial documentation
- Experience with tax administration, filing, or compliance, preferably within a nonprofit environment
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency with office software (MS Office, document management, spreadsheets)
- Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
