Responsibilities Nurse Recruiter Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917. Visit us online at: The Nurse Recruiter is responsible for the planning and organizing recruitment, selection, and strategies for the hospital. This position will serve as a vital member of the HR Department and maintain a proactive recruitment process consistent with the hospitals strategic vision. Will be responsible for contributing to marketing efforts to best suit the needs of the hospital's departments. Participating in community events, job fairs, and career expos to drive application volume. Job Duties:
- Work with Sr. Leadership and Department Leaders to create new recruitment strategies to fill open positions.
- Maintain relationships with local and non-local technical colleges, universities, and other accredited institutions for workforce development.
- Participate, register, and attend hiring events, job fairs, career expos/events for recruitment.
- Post jobs to company website according to corporate posting standards. Use external job boards to post open positions as needed. Source other options for posting.
- Prescreen applicants to fill open positions. Source best candidates to leaders.
- Manages recruitment process, onboarding, and hire status for new hires.
- Participate in facility wide surveys to for HR compliance as needed.
- Conducts reference screening, schedules drug testing, onboarding appointments, etc. for new hires
- Prepares/delivers written and verbal offers to candidates.
- Manages the requisitions and approval process for requisitions in iCIMS.
- Suggest new ideas or events on ways to increase application volume.
- Maintains job descriptions for departments. Assist department leaders in updating and creating new job descriptions for positions.
- Complete exit interviews for resigning staff
- Process personnel action forms and additional paperwork required for the employee change. Communicate the change to employee.
- Collaborating and communicating with employees to understand their concerns. Provide guidance and resources as needed
- Assist hiring managers in preparing/delivering corrective actions for employees to ensure policy is followed.
- Submit check request as needed for recruitment related costs.
- Update vacancy report weekly. Make suggestions on improving report.
- Assist in planning and working events for hospital.
- Work with local marketing team, Shaker Recruitment, and other marketing vendors for recruitment needs.
- Maintains knowledge of personnel policy and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
