Prevailance is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Marine Air-Ground Task Force
( MAGTF
Logistics/Plans Analyst) to provide strategic and operational logistics planning support across combatant command and component-level operations. This role requires deep understanding of logistics processes, sustainment planning, inter-service coordination, and the Joint Staff Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) process. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience integrating supply, engineering, medical services, maintenance, transportation, and operational contract support considerations into comprehensive operational and contingency plans.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Provide expert logistics planning and analysis across strategic and operational levels in support of combatant command and component-level requirements
Apply extensive knowledge of operational planning, concept planning, bi-lateral and multi-lateral planning, and exercise planning
Integrate logistics considerations across supply, sustainment, medical services, engineering, facilities, maintenance, munitions, contract support, and transportation functions
Support planning efforts aligned with the Joint Staff APEX process
Provide logistics planning and advisory support to Marine Corps organizations operating within the CENTCOM area of responsibility
Support planning for Special Access Programs (SAP), SCI-level plans, theater campaign plans, posture plans, and synchronization efforts
Track and report on operational-level planning efforts at the Top Secret level, including contingency plans across the Middle East region
Coordinate logistics support requirements with service components including AFCENT, ARCENT, NAVCENT, and SOCCENT
Develop recommendations for logistics policy, sustainment concepts, and commodity distribution strategies
Participate in crisis action teams (CAT) and Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) as required
Assist staff and subordinate elements in achieving logistics training and exercise objectives
Support development and refinement of SOPs, execution checklists, orders, directives, and training materials
Incorporate lessons learned and after-action insights into planning processes and documentation
Requirements Qualifications:
8–10 years of experience
in strategic and operational logistics planning within a Geographic Combatant Command environment
Demonstrated expertise in operational, concept, bilateral, multilateral, and exercise planning across logistics functions
Strong understanding of the Joint Staff
APEX
process
Experience integrating logistics functions such as supply, sustainment, medical, engineering, facilities, maintenance, munitions, transportation, and contract support
Knowledge of CENTCOM operational conditions and requirements
Desired Qualifications:
Senior-level planning experience in joint and combined operational environments
Deep understanding of APEX, CONOPS development, and inter-service coordination
Proficient across logistics planning domains including supply, medical, engineering, transportation, and contract support
Ability to shape logistics doctrine, policies, and sustainment strategies
Skilled in developing SOPs and integrating operational lessons learned
Proven ability to contribute to classified planning documentation
Education:
Master’s degree
(MA/MS)
Graduate of
JPME II, Staff College, or War College
Clearance:
Possesses Top Secret Clearance (SCI preferred)
