Deel . You’ll play a key role in optimizing our global foreign exchange strategy, delivering best‑in‑class pricing and execution across a broad set of currencies. This high‑impact position is ideal for an experienced FX professional who wants to shape the future of global payroll and cross‑border payments at a rapidly scaling fintech.

Overview Reporting into the Treasury function, you’ll support the global dealing floor and drive profitability while maintaining operational rigor and scalability. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to design automated trading solutions, enhance internal treasury platforms, and implement robust FX and hedging policies.

Responsibilities

Lead the selection and execution of optimal FX solutions across currencies, ensuring profitability in a scalable and controlled environment.

Build and manage strong relationships with external counterparties, including banking institutions and key market participants.

Provide best‑in‑class FX pricing and execution to Deel’s global dealing floor by leveraging multiple FX providers and instruments.

Partner with product and engineering teams to build the FX trading module within Deel’s internal treasury system, including automated trading capabilities.

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure all FX transactions are accurately captured and reconciled through system integrations.

Design, implement, and maintain global FX and hedging policies to support risk management and financial efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as an FX trader or in a support/execution role, ideally within a fintech or financial institution.

Experience with FX options and swaps strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a quantitative discipline; CFA or similar credentials are a plus.

Proficiency in front‑office trading platforms; Bloomberg experience required.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.

Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Highly self‑motivated with the ability to operate independently and drive initiatives forward.

Excellent organizational, time‑management, and analytical problem‑solving skills.

Service‑oriented team player with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
