Responsibilities
Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and moving goods to the sales floor.
Maintain back‑of‑house cleanliness, set‑up, and organization to standard.
Reinforce asset protection strategies to eliminate shortages.
Promote safety in adherence to company guidelines.
Cultivate a diverse, teamwork‑oriented culture.
Ensure associate compliance with company policies and standards.
Direct associates and workload.
Accountability for team productivity and merchandise protection.
Coach associates on the spot and provide recognition.
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
Drive community relations through company programs and partnerships.
Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
Requirements
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off‑price, big‑box, or specialty retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, engaging attitude.
Ability to work a full‑time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical ability to move, handle, and lift merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand and walk for extended periods.
