Job Summary CPE STRI Live Training Systems (LTS) is seeking a highly skilled project manager to support its efforts in delivering advanced simulation, testing, and training solutions for military operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in project management to support efforts in the LTS program. Capability development experience and prior experience working with ATEC (Army Test and Evaluation Command) is also highly desirable for this role.
Key Responsibilities
You will serve as an Assistant Product Manager (APM) assigned to the PdM Live Training System (LTS) program office under PM TRADE within CPE STRI located in Orlando, FL.
You will assist with overseeing and managing all phases acquisition life cycle to include definition, development, design, integration, test and evaluation, acquisition and contracts strategies, contract management, cost estimation, scheduling, production, etc.
You will effectively lead, integrate and coordinate disparate functional groups and develop a cohesive team capable of successfully handling complex problems encountered.
You will assist in preparing briefs to Army Senior Leaders and other stakeholders.
You will help prepare program budget estimates, develop work breakdown structures, build program schedules, manage risks, assist in program planning and help coordinate post-award activities.
You will coordinate preparation of program acquisition/integration documentation and ensure tasks executed/contracts let awarded are in accordance with appropriate guidelines and that the program stays within controls.
You will work with PdM LTS leadership to communicate program information across the CPE and other relevant organizations to facilitate leveraging opportunities.
You will assist in ensuring the program acquisition strategy, program of record and execution meet user requirements and are executable with acceptance.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of relevant program management experience, or 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field.
Working understanding of hardware and software development, integration, test, and assessment life cycles.
Security Clearance: Active SECRET clearance (mandatory).
Problem-Solving Skills: Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in high-stakes, mission-critical systems.
Ability to work in a classified environment.
Strong analytical and professional writing skills for producing critical reports.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team, including with military personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
DAWIA Level 3 - Program Management.
Experience in both classified and unclassified testing environments.
Experience with DAU-related policies and standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
