Work Hours
Noon Supervisor: 1.5 hours per day / 172 days per year
Intervention Tutor: 4.25 hours per day / 137 days per year
Start/End times: 9:30 am – 3:15 pm

Position Type Non‑Licensed Position
Qualifications – Intervention Tutor (Intervention Services)
AA college degree / 2 years of college (minimum of 60 credits) or successful Para‑Pro test or Para‑Educator Assessment required.
Training or experience working with children in a group tutorial and supervisory setting.
Interpersonal skills that foster a compatible working relationship with students and other adults as determined by the principal.
Ability to assist students in learning basic elementary school curriculum.
Maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality at the level expected of fully licensed teachers.
Qualifications – Noon Supervisor
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions for 20–30 minutes.
Responsible for the physical safety and emotional behavior of an entire grade level while supervising students on the playground, cafeteria, and classroom, including implementing discipline plans when necessary.
Salary Per the LEAF contract: Noon Supervisor classified as A‑1‑1, starting salary $16.25–$19.66 per hour depending on experience. Tutor positions classified as B‑2‑1, starting salary $19.85–$24.05 per hour depending on experience.
