Purpose and Summary Statement
– The Facility Operations Coordinator assists the Location Manager with the day‑to‑day operations of the assigned location, including personnel management, scheduling, logistics, inventory, product handling, application services, and customer satisfaction. The Coordinator also helps develop and implement plans that maximize location profitability.
Essential Job Functions
Collaborate with the Location Manager and Crop Specialist to plan, organize, direct, and schedule work assignments and product batching sequences for dry and liquid facilities.
Maintain inventory control and update application records daily; ensure all products are accounted for via invoice or delivery ticket.
Set up material handling, blending, storage, transport, and application equipment for the blending and delivery of products.
Blend products according to recommended rates and procedures.
Complete delivery tickets, transfer tickets, and invoicing for fertilizer and crop protection loads.
Provide customer service and billing information, issuing invoices in a timely and accurate manner to increase inventory accuracy and uphold the company’s reputation and profitability.
Operate and maintain facility equipment and machinery safely, efficiently, and economically.
Schedule and perform maintenance on assigned equipment, rolling stock, and facilities.
Lead personnel in following all safe operating procedures and regulations.
Maintain the facility’s appearance and safety environment, and uphold a professional image.
Support sales efforts for prospective accounts, including plant food, chemicals, seed, custom application, and precision agriculture.
Other Job Functions Contribute to overall company goals by collaborating on logistics, comply with GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies, and perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements •
Associate’s Degree in an agricultural discipline or equivalent, and 2+ years of agronomy operations or farming experience demonstrating knowledge required to assist in facility and personnel management.

Demonstrated essential abilities in business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
•
Must obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Applicator’s core license covering applicable weed, insect, and disease regulations; CDL license with a valid medical card and satisfactory driving record is preferred.
•
Ability to obtain and maintain required endorsements, licenses, permits, and certifications.
•
Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.
•
Prefer knowledge of GROWMARK agronomy and/or energy operations.
Frequently or continuously exposed or required to work in conditions that may include:
Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, snow, ice, etc.)
Noisy conditions
Exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures
Work at varying heights
Confined spaces
Lifting 51–70 lbs
