Business Intelligence Manager
Compensation:
Up to $160,000
A leading manufacturing company in Nashville is seeking a
Business Intelligence Manager
to serve as the primary data expert for the organization. This individual will own all aspects of data analysis and business intelligence, focusing on financial, operational, and company-wide performance. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, resourceful, and capable of turning complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the sole BI resource responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards, reporting, and data models.
Analyze financial, operational, and organizational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Present insights to executives in a clear, concise, and business-focused manner.
Partner with finance, operations, supply chain, and other departments to gather data needs and define KPI reporting.
Manage data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and reports.
Build automated reporting solutions and optimize BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects to guide strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5–8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, ideally within manufacturing or a data-heavy environment.
Advanced experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large or complex datasets.
Ability to translate complex data into executive-friendly insights.
Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership.
Highly independent and capable of managing all BI initiatives as a one-person department.
