Key Role Perform a wide range of functions to support the protection of government-sensitive and classified information. Apply advanced skills and extensive technical expertise to day‑to‑day security functions, including personnel security, document control, visitor control, physical security, classification management, and DD Form 254 administration. Work with the Special Security Office, Facility Security Officer, and Contractor Special Security Officer to implement security procedures in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). Coordinate with government security officials, clients, and employees for clearance processing, personnel security record management, adverse reports, administrative inquiries, suspicious contact reports, visit certifications, document control, and industrial security efforts. Provide security advice, guidance, and recommendations to all levels of staff, conduct briefings, debriefings, and Security Awareness Training and Education (SATE) sessions. Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements and participate in security compliance audits and vulnerability assessments.

Basic Qualifications

Experience being read into and supporting SAP programs

Experience with security policy and manuals, and ICDs, JFANs, DoD, and guiding policy documents

Experience working with Special Access Program (SAP) information and with SIC or JADE account look‑ups and creations, submitting SAP nominations for program access, and SAP security education implementation and annual reporting

Experience working in a fast‑paced team environment

Experience directing the activities of security specialists

Experience working Security Classification Guides and classification reviews

Experience with physical security, such as Co‑Use Agreements and Compartmented Area Checklists

Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience supporting daily Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities for the DoD, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications

Experience using Microsoft Office software applications

Ability to provide constructive, tactful, and discrete security advice and guidance to personnel across all levels, including senior managers, peers, subordinates, and customers

Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) IAW DoD Manual 3305.13M certification

Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by multiple factors including location, education, experience, and contract requirements.

Work Model

If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you’ll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
