Clearance Requirement TS/SCI with Polygraph
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring they are effectively assigned to and completed by the vendors and facilities team
Oversee and coordinate renovation projects to ensure timely delivery of fully functional, operational spaces that meet the needs of the end users
Facilities Site Lead Responsibilities (50%)
Oversee all aspects of facility operations including maintenance, security, space planning, and vendor management
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
Lead site‑level emergency preparedness, business continuity, and risk mitigation planning
Manage facility‑related budgets, contracts, and procurement of services and supplies
Coordinate with internal departments to support workplace needs and site expansion or reconfiguration projects
Supervise on‑site facility staff and service providers (custodial, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
Monitor building systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, security) to ensure operational efficiency
Technical Project Lead Responsibilities (50%)
Lead cross‑functional technical projects involving engineering, IT, construction, or infrastructure upgrades
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans in alignment with organizational goals
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to meet technical requirements and milestones
Track project progress and report status to senior stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks
Manage documentation, change orders, and stakeholder communication across the project lifecycle
Support the introduction of new technologies, systems, or tools within the site environment
Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including Design, Construction, and Closeout
Develop project requirements and cost estimates for a range of projects, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, civil, architectural, structural, and geotechnical
Construction Management Support
Development of requirements based on customer input
Contract development, review, and management of Architecture & Engineering (A&E) plans, designs, and specifications
Conducting maintainability reviews and preparing detailed Government Cost Estimates (GCE)
Technical evaluations and reviews
Preparation of project Statements of Work (SOW) or Statements of Objectives (SOO)
Management of construction activities and supplementary services to support project execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
12+ years of experience in facilities operations, engineering project management, or related roles
Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
Proven track record managing complex technical or infrastructure projects
Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety protocols
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or CAPM certification
Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
Experience working in a manufacturing, lab, or data center environment
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Be able to provide the PMO with monthly expenditures, preventative maintenance tasks performed and work proactively to create mitigation plans for bigger issues on the horizon
Provide 24/7 availability for building emergencies as they may arise at assigned locations
