Job Description
Position Overview: This position will work closely with the CN Business Director and CN Supply and Position Coordinator within the crop nutrient division. Responsibilities include contract management, release number management, direct correspondence with the field to ensure contract details and allocations are followed, and providing high‑level support for the field team regarding crop nutrients to help them work effectively and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supports Keystone Cooperative’s stated Mission, Vision, and Business Values
Supports Keystone Cooperative’s procurement team’s mission
Reviews & maintains fertilizer purchase contracts, verifies purchases against purchase log, and helps maintain purchase log
Creates POs for vendor purchases in the appropriate system(s)
Develops and maintains load number spreadsheets with CN Supply and Position Coordinator
Sends contract information & release numbers for product pick‑up to agronomy locations
Sends BOL & rail tracing information to agronomy locations
Supports agronomy locations with booking cleanup and troubleshooting problems; encourages monthly cleanup
Keeps the CN team & ag centers informed of contract status & expiration dates; verifies all contracts are fulfilled timely
Coordinates & communicates logistics information on delivered purchases (rail, truck, & barge)
Inputs retail price sheet updates into the appropriate system(s)
Works with ag centers to troubleshoot various issues (e.g., BOL requests, non‑working release numbers, rail car & truck demurrage fees)
Communicates with ag centers in a timely manner
Works with the Accounts Payable team to provide guidance on troubleshooting CN vendor invoicing
Liaises with the State Chemist
Runs reports for the CN team and helps with various projects when requested
Works in the Indianapolis Corporate Office 5 days a week

Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrates problem‑solving skills, including organization and scheduling of multiple tasks
Willingness to learn new tasks and brainstorm solutions
Initiative in finding answers when needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work through changing priorities
Self‑motivated to manage deadlines
Works collaboratively in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn company‑specific software
Prepared to work overtime as the season demands
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or associate degree in agriculture or a related field; or a combination of education and/or experience
