Description The Senior PI Nurse functions as a clinical expert, educator and expert in performance improvement. Serves as a clinical expert in two areas: 1) performance improvement tools, techniques, processes and statistical and data analysis and 2) clinical expertise from in‑depth clinical knowledge and experience. Serves as an educator through orientation, mentoring and coaching of PI Nurse 1s medical staff and employees and provides formal and informal presentations related to accreditation, medical staff peer review, data analysis, team management and federal and private registries, databases and regulations. Serves as an expert in performance improvement by applying clinical expertise to improve patient care, treatment, services and processes.
Estimated pay range for this position is $73,860 - $104,670 / annually depending on experience.
Qualifications Degrees:
Associates
Licenses & Certifications:
Registered Nurse.
Additional Qualifications:
5 years acute care experience
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Word and Excel
Demonstrates involvement in Performance Improvement activities
Minimum Required Experience: 5 Years
