Tenure-track faculty typically have a 50% commitment to clinical service and clinical teaching with the remainder devoted to didactic and laboratory teaching, and to developing research/scholarship, including collaboration with other scientists, advising of graduate student and resident research, and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
