We are seeking a highly capable and dynamic New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPI-OPM) to lead cross-functional teams in delivering world‑class Beats products with precision timing, superior quality, and maximum customer availability. As a pivotal contributor to the fast‑paced development and launch of Beats hardware, the NPI-OPM facilitates program execution, drives alignment, resolves conflicts, and ensures operational excellence across all phases of the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, is exceptionally organized, relentlessly detail‑oriented, and an exceptional communicator at all levels of the organization. This role serves as the crucial interface to the core product development team and multiple Apple functions—including engineering, product design, marketing, planning, materials, and Global Supply Management. Overall mission is a successful product launch defined by meeting stated schedule, availability and customer experience goals.
Description Lead the OEM operations team through development builds, pilot phases, and new product ramps. Work closely with internal and external US and Asia‑based teams to manage schedule, capacity, material availability, quality issues, and product updates. Drive component and Capex readiness by ensuring part availability, quality compliance, cost alignment, and supplier readiness. Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams. Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality. Leading all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams. Ensure all operational milestones are met on time, leading the organization toward a smooth and successful product launch. This role will also support and lead the overall guardianship of Apple’s capital equipment deployed on‑site. Review and approve capital equipment spend by CM. Drive CM teams—to transfer capital equipment across sites, maintain high traceability and usability of Apple’s assets—to execute efficiency in equipment repair process to minimize downtime.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of working experience in manufacturing / operations or engineering related environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management.
Proven results‑driven and action‑oriented track record.
Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of leading multiple complex workstreams.
Organized and detail oriented while leading several work streams.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30–35%).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with engineering teams and managing OEM communication a plus.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,200 and $236,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
