Senior Project Manager
will play an integral role in the
Drug Eluting Therapies (DET)
portfolio—one of the company’s most dynamic and high-growth areas.
This position will lead a variety of
new product development
and
strategic operations
initiatives, ranging from small-scale tasks to large, complex programs. The Senior Project Manager will provide cross‑functional leadership and partner with key stakeholders across global manufacturing sites and business units to ensure effective execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
This role requires collaboration with teams across R&D, Design Assurance, Packaging, Regulatory, Process Development, Operations, Supplier Engineering/Quality, Supply Chain, and Clinical functions.

Arbor Lakes, MN

Your Responsibilities Project and program management:
Lead cross‑functional teams on projects of varying size and complexity, including NPD, design changes, line extensions, and corporate initiatives
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
Prioritize and allocate cross‑functional resources efficiently
Identify, communicate, and resolve technical and business risks
Provide structured project leadership and delegate responsibilities effectively
Lead decision‑making processes and present progress to senior leadership and governance boards
Ensure full accountability for project success from concept through commercialization
Communication and stakeholder engagement:
Maintain clear, timely communication across functional teams and leadership
Escalate critical decisions to functional leadership or governance boards
Serve as a liaison between the team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency
Team leadership and people development:
Coach and guide geographically dispersed, cross‑functional teams
Foster a collaborative, high‑performing team environment
Provide performance‑related feedback to functional managers
Product and compliance oversight:
Guide teams through product design, process changes, and technical decisions
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
Identify and manage compliance and quality risks throughout project lifecycle
Process and systems leadership:
Apply Product Lifecycle Process (PLCP) best practices to drive high‑quality outcomes
Use Boston Scientific’s quality systems to ensure process compliance
Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning
Drive improvements in cross‑functional systems and operations

Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or project management
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in project or program management
Proven experience leading both small and large cross‑functional project teams

Works independently with minimal supervision

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Experience in product development or product lifecycle management
Strong organizational, execution, and communication skills
Comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders
