Family Medicine Physician
to join our Kentwood Primary Care team in
Kentwood, MI.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Opportunity Details Join a well-established and diverse outpatient clinic providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Our services include:
Pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric primary care
Preventive care, including general medical exams and annual physicals
Management of acute illnesses such as respiratory and skin infections
Immunizations and routine vaccinations
Minor surgical procedures
On-site laboratory services
Team of 7 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers (APPs)
Flexible scope of practice: option to include obstetrics (deliveries) or focus solely on prenatal care
Unrestricted call rotation with other primary care providers in the network
Teaching opportunities with residents, medical students, and fellows
Convenient clinic hours: Monday & Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Open to new graduates
Physicians:
Shall be board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or is board eligible and will become board certified within five years following the Start Date (unless sooner required by the applicable medical staff bylaws)
Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA license
BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities A typical day may include:
Providing direct patient care
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Participating in teaching and mentoring
Documenting in Epic EMREngaging in quality improvement initiatives
Supporting community health efforts
