We are looking for: Sterile Processing Technician Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday 10am-8pm, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-7pm
Compensation:
The hiring range for this position is $27.25 - $35.00/hour based on skillset and experience.
The Sterile Processing Technician performs decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of instrumentation and medical equipment for surgeries and procedures, utilizing infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process.
What you’ll do:
Maintaining proper sterile technique
Proactive distribution of all necessary equipment and instrumentation for surgeries and procedures
Collecting used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies for sorting and decontamination
Accurately handle and care for instruments, including appropriate selection of cleaning agents, lubricants, examination for function, identification, and assembly
Preparing and packing decontaminated supplies for sterilization
Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sterilization equipment
Assembling, disassembling, and disinfecting operating and procedure rooms
Who you are:
Minimum 2-year veterinary experience preferred
Certification in Sterile Processing required
Strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize, time manage, and critically think.
Capability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
