We have two positions available one is at the Heart hospital in Sout OKC, and the other is in OKC/Yukon at an AL community with an onsite outpatient clinic.
Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, medical histories, and functional limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals. Administer therapeutic interventions including exercise programs, manual therapy, gait training, balance activities, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold therapy). Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, safety, and physical wellness. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare team members. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility standards. Ensure patient safety and uphold professional and ethical standards. Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued care or equipment needs. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or master’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain). Current CPR/First Aid certification (varies by employer). Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Skills Experience in outpatient and hospital. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Working Conditions Standing, walking, and lifting equipment or assisting patients regularly.
