Locums - Cardiovascular Surgery - Saint Paul, Minnesota (IMLC Accepted)

Start: ASAP (January 1 preferred but unlikely - credentials committee meets January 5, 2026)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5pCall: 1 in 3 rotation - includes day shift, overnight (5p-7a), and 24-hr weekend call

Case Types (Predominantly Routine):

CABG / Valves / Standard Cardiothoracic
Approximate annual volumes:• CAB / Valves: 250• TAVR standbys: 200• Clips: 100• Lead Extractions: 35
Additional procedures include:• Aortic aneurysms & dissections• Atrial fibrillation surgery• Cardiac valve repair & replacement• Carotid endarterectomy• Congenital heart surgery• Coronary artery bypass surgery• Esophageal surgery (minimally invasive)• Heart failure surgery• Heart transplant surgery• LVAD surgery• Lung surgery• Minimally invasive & robotic heart surgery• Thoracoscopic surgery

Licensure:

Active MN License OR IMLC Accepted
