Lead Technician

to join their growing team!

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in low voltage systems. The

Lead Technician

will be responsible for the installation, service, and troubleshooting of commercial security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems.

The position requires experience reading construction drawings, running cable, and ensuring compliance with code and safety standards.

Responsibilities: Install and service commercial security devices/systems including intrusion, access control, video, and fire Ability to read and use construction drawings and schematics Abide by building code standards and company safety standards Identify and prepare pathways and supports for new cabling system installations Pull copper and coaxial cable in backbone, horizontal and riser environments Communicate with Service Coordinators, Technicians, Project Mangers, Field Managers and other co-workers as required regarding project or call status Exhibit professional appearance and conduct Provide exceptional customer service Participate in on-call schedule

Essential Skills and Experience: High level troubleshooting ability 5+ years experience in the Low Voltage industry Certification in one or more of the following, Lenel S2, AMAG, Software House, Velocity, R2, Open Options, and Genetec. Strong communication skills Ability to understand basic network technology Certification in one or more of the following CCTV manufacturer systems, AXIS, Avigilon, Hanwa, Eagle eye, Hikvision, Verkada, or others. Valid drivers license with clear driving record Ability to drive to and from work office and work sites Ability to pass thorough background, identity, and drug screening

Preferred: Advanced certifications in access control and CCTV systems Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) or NICET Level II for Fire Alarms Additional NICET certifications
