About the Job

Warehouse Manager is expected to complete various management, organization, and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse’s storage, shipping, receiving, and safety processes and standards. The role develops and fosters a sense of responsibility, excellence, and exceptionalism in the warehouse staff, while maintaining and upholding standards of service delivery to all internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
• Maintain the accuracy of the inventory.
• Schedule all deliveries and pick‑ups required by the business.
• Ensure the accuracy of all orders being shipped out of the warehouse.
• Manage warehouse associates/drivers, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse and fleet equipment.
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient, clean, neat, and well‑organized warehouse.
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with the FF&L manager and VHE manager.
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees’ performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are executed in an efficient and timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge and expertise of all processes, software applications, shipping and receiving requirements of our customers.
• Train all warehouse associates/drivers on all relevant job functions.
• Ability to create and maintain an orderly, neat, and clean facility.

Minimum/Preferred Requirements

• Education: High School or equivalent.
• Experience: Warehousing.

• Great interpersonal skills.
• Good project management skills, including strong decision‑making, problem‑solving and strategic planning abilities.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• In‑depth understanding of industry and company best practices as they relate to warehousing and logistics.
• Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions

• Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and inclement weather.
