Job Summary

The Lead Air Conditioning Technician supervises the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems, ensuring high‑quality work and efficient system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead air conditioning installation and service teams
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on AC units
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Train and mentor junior technicians in best practices
• Communicate with clients and project managers on work progress and system status
• Maintain detailed records of service activities and materials used

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in air conditioning installation and repair
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Knowledge of HVAC safety codes and refrigerant handling certifications (e.g., EPA 608)
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system components
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
