About the RoleJoin a reputable, family-owned contractor with over 75 years in the utility construction industry. We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team and contribute to commercial construction projects in Colorado Springs.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment including loaders and excavators.
- Perform general labor tasks as needed.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as 624 Loaders and John Deere 470 Excavators.
- Work collaboratively with a unified crew handling both dirt and utility tasks.
- Minimum 3 years operating loaders and excavators combined.
- Proficiency with heavy equipment operation in construction environments.
- Experience with brands like Hitachi, John Deere, Cat, and Komatsu.
- Familiarity with equipment without GPS systems (2D GPS experience not required).
- Knowledge of specific models like 624 Loader and John Deere 470 Excavator.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
