Job Title Athletics Ticketing Box Office Assistant Department Athletic Marketing Terms and Hours Approx. 5-15 hrs/wk, based on Athletics home game schedule. Including nights and weekends. Job Category Student Employment Hourly Wage Portland Metro Minimum Wage ($16.30) Job Summary

As a Box Office Assistant, you will be a representative of the Athletic Department on game days and possibly during the week during normal business hours. This position will report to the Assistant AD - Tickets. We are looking for friendly, outgoing, and professional individuals that may or may not enjoy athletics, but definitely enjoy working with the general public.

Core Duties

• Scanning tickets at games
• Working will-call at games
• Selling tickets at games on a computerized ticket system
• Answering questions and concerns from ticket holders
• General office duties
• Other relevant duties as assigned
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, and professional
• Available to work games during the evenings, on the weekends, and
  
  

possibly over breaks

• Ability to work shifts that range in duration
• Being ok with missing some home games due to job responsibilities
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Local students strongly preferred
• Green Dot full training certified or willing to go through the Green Dot
  
  

training

• Interest in athletics
• Knowledge of various sports
