The Boeing Global Services team is searching for a

Mid‑Level Design and Analysis Engineer , situated in

Long Beach, California .

This position is to support the C‑17 military cargo aircraft operating around the world. The successful candidate has an ability to perform systems integration; create wiring diagrams, system schematics, block diagrams; read electrical drawings such as wire harness, equipment installation; and resolve technical problems. The successful candidate will work with senior engineers to further develop skills. This position requires someone that is self‑motivated and has leadership skills/lead potential. C‑17 engineering is a customer‑focused organization and the ability to build strong customer relationships is a plus. Looking for a dynamic person that is ready to develop and take skills to the next level.

Position Responsibilities

Develops and maintains wiring diagrams, system schematics, and block diagrams

Performs wire design and systems integration for new projects, presents design reviews at SRR, PDR and CDR to design teams and customers

Supports analysis and design reviews

Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities

Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection

Supports the sustainment, development, and documentation of aircraft systems, primarily electrical and electro‑mechanical system design (will include interacting directly with USAF customer, Field Engineers, and C‑17 aircraft)

Performs root cause analysis for field issues, provides corrective actions, and communicates with USAF customer (including presentations)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

3+ years of experience in Electrical design and systems integration (including but not limited to Electrical Systems design, Wire Design, Electrical Equipment Installation and Wire Installation Design)

Experience with aircraft wiring diagrams and system schematics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

3+ years of experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD), utilizing model‑based definition, preferably Unigraphics

3+ years of experience with Siemens Capital tool

2+ years of experience with Teamcenter drawing release tool

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

$114,750- $155,250
