Software Development Engineer – Embedded Test Automation
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 12Months+ Extension
Hourly Rate: Depending on Experience (DOE)

Job Description Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded
test automation frameworks
using
Rust, C, and Python .
Collaborate with
hardware and firmware
teams for system validation.
Develop
automated tests
for firmware, drivers, and low-level components.
Work with
ARM-based processors
and software development on ARM.
Handle
bring‑up and validation
of embedded platforms (bootloaders, BSPs, secure boot).
Implement
CI/CD pipelines
for embedded software testing and deployment.
Use
Git or Azure DevOps
for version control and large‑scale project management.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong programming in
Rust, C, and Python .
Experience with
embedded test automation frameworks .
Familiarity with
ARM architecture ,
UEFI ,
TrustZone , and
SoC‑level integration .
Knowledge of
firmware development lifecycle
and hardware interaction.
Hands‑on with
board bring‑up, debugging tools , and
lab validation workflows .
