Responsibilities
Show rental properties to qualified prospective tenants List apartments, create marketing descriptions, and update availability Represent landlords to ensure maximum exposure and quick lease-ups Handle rental applications, screening, and lease coordination Maintain communication with renters, landlords, and team members Build relationships within the community to generate business Prepare for market changes by researching local rates and calculating costs to ensure competitive and fair pricing Verify all rental applications and personal references are true and accurate Show prospective tenants properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure rental contract Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close the deal Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically to maintain our level of company standards Qualifications
Friendly, motivated, and professional demeanor Strong communication and customer service skills Must be self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently Real estate license required or willingness to obtain one Prior leasing or rental experience is a plus, but not required Excellent communication and negotiation skills Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices Proven track of successful sales record Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher Compensation
