ProSidian is seeking a Strategic Consultant – Strategy and Architecture [GMU0017016] for Information Technology on an exempt 1099 contract. The position is based in Fairfax, VA (CONUS) and supports the strategic delivery of Government and Public Services Sector Human Capital Solutions through Temporary Help Services and Recruiting/Staff Augmentation capabilities for the City of Charlotte (COC). The role is an interim Contract Contingent or Contract W‑2 (IRS‑1099) position, with the possibility of conversion to a full‑time ProSidian‑employed W‑2 position.
JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a Strategic Consultant (IT Consulting & Staff Augmentation Services) in the Education and Academia industry sector, focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as George Mason University (GMU) and its Information Technology Services (ITS), generally located in Fairfax, VA and across the Mid‑Atlantic region.

Provide IT governance, risk, and compliance advice.
Conduct strategic assessments.
Advise on enterprise risk posture.
Align IT strategy with institutional goals.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of IT strategy or consulting experience.
