What We Are Looking For This role is critical to executing TradeStation’s multi‑year platform transformation. The Director will lead foundational infrastructure efforts—in Security Master and market data system modernization—with direct accountability for delivering key project milestones.
We are looking for a Director of Product Management with deep experience in equities, options, and futures market data, and a track record of building trading infrastructure that scales. This role reports to the Senior Director of Product Management and joins a team of high‑performing product leaders driving our brokerage platform forward.
You are outcome‑obsessed: able to define success, set KPIs aligned with business goals, and drive measurable progress across cross‑functional teams. You bring clarity to ambiguity, communicate the “why” behind every roadmap decision, and regularly report on progress to executive stakeholders. You embrace data and AI tools to accelerate execution and deliver results faster and smarter.
As a Director at TradeStation, you’ll collaborate across the company to define customer needs, shape the roadmap, manage the product lifecycle, and lead teams through delivery. Your work ensures our core trading systems are modern, efficient, and ready to scale with the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own the future of market data at TradeStation: manage vendor integrations, platform modernization, contract negotiations, and budget allocations
Lead the delivery and implementation of TradeStation’s new Security Master infrastructure, ensuring scalable integration with OMS and downstream systems
Define and deliver measurable outcomes aligned to strategic objectives. Set KPIs for your product areas and drive performance using data and experimentation
Own quarterly KPI reviews across product areas under management; ensure cross‑functional teams are aligned to deliver against targets, and proactively course‑correct where needed
Regularly communicate progress to senior leadership, tying product milestones to business impact (e.g., latency reduction, data quality improvements, reduced vendor costs, enhanced entitlements, etc.)
Develop and maintain product roadmaps with clear visibility and alignment across internal and external stakeholders
Leverage AI and LLM tools to accelerate delivery, improve data quality, and reduce operational complexity—not just for speed, but for measurable business outcomes
Engage deeply with customers and vendors to identify opportunities, resolve friction points, and deliver differentiated market data solutions
Assess and present new product opportunities across equities, options, market data, corporate actions, and security master infrastructure
Shape the company’s product vision and differentiation strategy in collaboration with brokerage leadership for market data and related infrastructure
Direct the full product lifecycle, from opportunity identification through launch, working cross‑functionally with Technology, Operations, Vendors, Compliance, and other departments
Conduct competitive and industry research to stay ahead of technology trends, regulatory requirements, and evolving customer needs
Develop detailed business requirements and partner closely with Engineering teams to ensure high‑quality execution
Ensure regulatory and audit compliance, including data entitlements, customer disclosures, and exchange reporting obligations
Direct and manage exchange and vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance oversight, and vendor strategy alignment
Continuously evaluate and improve business processes to drive scale, efficiency, and improved customer and stakeholder outcomes

In‑depth understanding of markets, exchange market data, corporate actions processing, security master management

Experience with industry vendors such as FIS (phase 3 and GMI), ICE, or CME, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
7–10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on market data systems, trading platforms, or capital markets infrastructure
Bachelor's degree required
Desired Qualifications
Master's/MBA a plus
FINRA Certifications Series 7 and Series 3 a plus
