Overview
JOB DESCRIPTION: The position requires deep technical expertise in C/C++, Linux kernel and drivers, embedded Linux distributions, and networking hardware. Candidates should have experience with Ethernet, IP networking, and network switching ASICs, and be able to support low-level debugging with basic electrical engineering knowledge.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong understanding of C and C++ programming.
Apply familiarity with the Linux kernel and device drivers.
Work with embedded Linux distributions (e.g., Yocto or Buildroot).
Design, analyze, and troubleshoot Ethernet, IP, and higher-level networking concepts.
Work with hardware-based Ethernet packet processors, VLANs, filtering engines, TCAMs, and related features.
Leverage knowledge of network switching ASICs (Broadcom, Marvell, or Microchip) and associated features.
Provide basic electrical engineering support for low-level debugging.
Desirable Knowledge

Safety and security concepts
