Manager, Tax needed by Celanese Corporation in Irving TX. Responsibilities
Manager, Tax needed by Celanese Corporation in Irving, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to Analyze and determine the impact of transactions and related tax attributes. Understand ASC 740 impact on U.S. international tax issues including GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits and provision process. Organize and manage multiple workstreams. Prepare and review work with a focus on international taxation. Working with tax preparation software including OneSource and Corptax. Able to gather and report information but also to analyze results and identify areas for improvement. Tax planning, preparing and reviewing work with a focus on international taxation. Work with fast-paced and team environment. Work with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740. Work with use and knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables. Work with U.S. tax laws, including GILTI, Subpart F, E&P, and FTCs. Understand U.S. structuring rules including 1248, 964(e), Subchapter C and foreign tax rules. Provide detail orientation and able to understand and identify issues. Assist in driving processes to completion. Able to lead and develop less experienced staff. Work with SAP, ASC 740 and BCS. Experience with accounting procedures and policies. Work with or for a Fortune 500 company. Experience researching complex corporate and partnership tax issues. Work in accounting and taxation to provide assistance with the tax implications. Identify tax issues and provide tax analysis. Review of workpapers and U.S. international informational returns including Forms 5471, 8858, and 8865. Assist in the review of the U.S. international aspects of the quarterly and annual tax provisions including subpart F, GILTI, E&P and foreign tax credit estimates. Research and prepare materials for projects related to tax planning considerations and initiatives. Work on tax return and provision preparation and review including various tax planning projects. Work on various projects related to process improvements and compliance. Support the international tax team on various compliance, provision, and project-based tasks. Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Accounting or Accountancy and Four (4) years of experience in the job offered, or Four (4) years of experience in a related occupation in working in accounting and taxation to provide assistance with the tax implications; identifying tax issues and provide tax analysis; reviewing of workpapers and U.S. international informational returns including Forms 5471, 8858, and 8865; assisting in the review of the U.S. international aspects of the quarterly and annual tax provisions including subpart F, GILTI, E&P and foreign tax credit estimates; researching and preparing materials for projects related to tax planning considerations and initiatives; working on tax return and provision preparation and review including various tax planning projects; working on various projects related to process improvements and compliance; and supporting the international tax team on various compliance, provision, and project-based tasks.
